Each of us will face medical issues that will change our way of life and that of our loved ones. Whether it is ourselves or a loved one injured in an accident or disabled due to illness or other medical conditions (or simply the effects of aging), one thing is certain: We will become a part of the world of People with Disabilities. The world People with Disabilities live in is extremely difficult and frustrating. Despite the wonderful intent of many agencies and not-for-profit organizations in existence today, this large and growing population is still treated poorly and with disdain despite the fact that many may possess great talents, experience and personal wealth.

The American Alliance has been established to address the everyday problems facing People with Disabilities, the aged, and those who would provide goods and services to them and their caregivers.
