Why contribute to the American
Alliance for People with Disabilities? There are many organizations
that provide services for people with special needs, but only The American Alliance,
the American Alliance for People with Disabilities combines Accessibility,
Employment and Education as it's mission. Many advocacy groups
represent the disabled; but none are grass roots: We are in the
local community to better the lives of People with Disabilities
every day. Our goal is a No Surprises lifestyle for
all members of the disabled community and their caregivers. Enter

awareness.
Is the American Alliance recognized in the
world of the Disabled? The American Alliance is a former
Certified Vendor for the Florida Department of Education, Division
of Vocational Rehabilitation. We are training, placing and retaining
People with Disabilities in meaningful employment. The Able Trust
refers to us as the "Cutting Edge" in employment services
for the disabled.
The American Alliance is contracting with the Social
Security Administration for its Employer Network Program and will
be working woth individuals with disabilities that posess a "Ticket
to Work" and seeking competitive employment.
The American Alliance is collaborating with Florida
Atlantic University and Lynn University on programs for the Disabled
and Employers interested in hiring our client base.. The American
Alliance is a member of the Community Foundation, Non-Profit Institute
and the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.
Is there a large overhead with high salaries for the officers? No. Currently the Directors and Officers do not take a salary and
will not until it becomes financially feasible; then all salaries
will be kept in moderation Overhead is lean and the majority of
your contributions will be used to deliver The American Alliance's mission.
